The Big Bunka is just a big bunka. An all around great chef's knife meant for dicing, chopping, cutting, and any kitchen uses that require a big, sturdy, and durable knife. A shallow bevel angle and thick blade back make preparing vegetables or proteins quick and easy.
1084 carbon steel quench hardened and tempered to HRC of 60. Handle is african ebony, brass spacer and purple heart.

African ebony, brass spacer and purple heart with a fitting dowel as well as an epoxy internal casting makes for a hidden tang that will never get loose.
Hand wash only. Not dishwasher safe. A go in the dishwasher will cause warping in the wood which will cause the handle to delaminate.
DRY AFTER WASHING. Carbon steel will rust if not dried after washing.
Product will petina with use. A badge of honor and a testament to how the owner uses their tool. Petina on carbon steel blades is natural, harmless and pretty. If you want to restore some shine to your carbon steel blade after petina build up just use an abrasive sponge.
